     Our story begun in 2011: Inspired by the need to share knowledge and     best practices with entrepreneurs and businesses. Today, halfway across the globe from where we started, we are privileged to connect with local business and global organizations.

Opal Africa Consulting works in two ways; First, with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to provide tools and knowledge, Second, with early stage and aspiring entrepreneurs to equip them with tools to refine their concept as they look to execute and scale.

We are social enterprise and our Mission is to help Transform Organizations Through Knowledge and Insight. We do this through a collaborative hands-on approach.

Our Method

We engage in action-oriented learning that allows for the linkage between theory and practice. We have an accountability process to ensure discussions translate into action. We have a mentorship process to continue supporting those who engage us

Peninah Kanyua

co-founder Facebook Twitter Penny has over 12 years’ experience working in retail and commercial financial services at Bank of America and General Electric Capital Corporation (GE). She specializes in entrepreneurship training, business assessment and business process optimization. Having worked with SMEs as a consultant and she has supported business growth efforts as a member of the East African Chamber of Commerce (Dallas).  Her expertise working with entrepreneurs includes Business Planning, Strategic planning and facilitation, and Organization Development. She serves as a mentor at the Unreasonable East Africa Accelerator in Kampala (Uganda) and is an entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship educator at a local university.

Esther Njuki

co-founder Facebook Twitter Esther Njuki is a certified Conflict Coach and is an accredited Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) expert. She specializes in customer service training and team development training. She brings a mix of client services experience and human resource training spanning 8 years having worked at Teladoc (Texas), General Electric Capital Corporation (Frisco). As an independent consultant, she has worked with businesses to create digital marketing strategies. Esther has supported efforts of the East African Chamber of Commerce (Texas) as an event organizer and PR advisory lead. She has promoted community peace by offering conflict management training in partnership with local NGOs.
